North Lenoir and Greene Central Tennis Earn Spots in 2025 Preseason 2A Poll

Two area tennis programs are gaining recognition ahead of the 2025 season, as North Lenoir and Greene Central have been ranked in the Men’s 2A Preseason Poll, released on February 24th by Donald Clark on the NC High School Tennis webpage.

North Lenoir enters the rankings at No. 7, while Greene Central follows closely behind at No. 9. The poll is topped by Franklin Academy, with Pine Lake Prep and Raleigh Charter rounding out the top three.

10. Community School of Davidson

Several programs also received votes, including Hendersonville, Salisbury, Seaforth, Edenton Holmes, Rutherford-Spindale Central, and Clinton.
